15 years ago, Bison and Blue were at the top of their games, striking fear into the hearts of every player. But now that are simply has beens. Villians that just weren’t bad enough to stay on top of things, even though one is a Space Nazi and the other professionally abused animals for a living!
Now they sit in a sleazy, back alley bar, drinking and tossing out vitriol at the characters around them that continued to find success after success.
Drawing on a childhood filled with the emergent genre of video games as a story telling medium, there are stories left untold. After all, what happens to the bad guys after they’re defeated if they’re not killed? We know some of them come back time after time, but there are others that simply disappear. Where are they now?
Nerdgasm sees Avi Bernshaw and Luke Bleeser team up again to form the incredibad comedy stylings of Blernshaw Comedy: sleaze, pop culture references and their own personal train wrecks, and they wrote it 10 months before Wreck It Ralph even started advertising!
Running from April 16th till the 20th, and starting at 10:30pm sharp, the show promises to mash the comedy button (FYI: It’s R1) of every gamer that inserts coins.
Nerdgasm is proudly (but they’ll soon regret that) hosted as an event for the 2013 Melbourne International Comedy Festival.
